Launching And Programming An In-Store Network

A project in the making for well over 5 years, VIMBY partnered with McDonald’s as its exclusive content provider for the McDonald’s Operators’ Association of Southern California (MOASC). VIMBY was tapped to create and fuel America’s Community Network (ACN), an OTT in-store regional entertainment channel and first-of-its-kind branded programming platform seen in 600+ McDonald’s franchises. The programming, a celebration of Southern California, was 100% original organized by daypart with a 1 hour loop that was updated 3 times per day.

Together we created a model and programming slate of original content that celebrated the local communities, engaged McDonald’s customers in a uniquely targeted way, and developed an exclusive ad model and revenue stream for the brand.

VIMBY’s team of local producers and filmmakers uncovered stories of note to create over 2,000 minutes of content and a 52 week programming slate for the initiative.
